In Lawrence County, we have more to do outside than inside. Some of the best outdoor places in Tennessee are found here. We want to offer activities different from fishing and camping, with many of these links going to topical pages with more content!

Area Golf Courses
Regarding golf in Lawrence County, Dixie Oaks Golf Club is running unopposed! This is the only public course you can play here. It is also the best experience with no houses around to hit!
Area Disc Golf Courses
We have 4 courses in Lawrence County. Scout Park is in Lawrenceburg and is a great all-around course. Loretto and St. Joe courses feature woods. The Farm course in Summertown is very long and is for a pro.
Basketball and Tennis Courts
The best tennis courts are behind the Lawrence County School System office beside the Lawrence County High School. Other tennis and basketball courts are at the city parks, Summertown High School, David Crockett State Park, and Rotary Park.
Outdoor Photography
If you are a camera person, then Lawrence and Giles Counties will be fantastic areas for you. We have several parks and open spaces to see wildlife and scenic overlooks for you to photograph. We also have rustic old barns with a family quilt tour!
Lawrenceburg TN Airport
Take flight at the local airport! You may want to see the fully restored airplanes that have been on TV inside the hangar! The hangar has many WW2-era planes and small jets inside with their tour! This is a must-see for airplane lovers!
Racetracks and ATV
Get the green light or checkered flag at these race tracks! Lawrence County has a variety of places to race or ride your ATV! We have a dedicated webpage for racetracks and ATV trails in the area!
Agriculture Adventure
People of Plants will enjoy our Agriculture Extension Office and other places around the county! We have a long history of agriculture, and this is what brought the Amish to Lawrence County.
See an Outdoor Concert
Every year we have outdoor concerts at our events and feature bands that are traveling through. We are between Nashville and Muscle Shoals and have a pool of musicians who call Lawrence County their home!
Summertown Airsoft
Airsoft has been a rising trend, and many have wanted to try this sport. Summertown Airsoft has rental equipment that will get you on the field safely and with working knowledge on how to play on their 7-acre field. This is a top-rated place to play!
Eagle Eye Shooting Complex
Take aim at a clay target while it zooms out of a skeet thrower, trap house or 5-stand - where the direction is a mystery. There are also 5 pistol bays in 3-gun setup and a long distance rifle range of up to 500 yards!
