The Amish will be open on Memorial Day as usual. The Plowboy Produce Auction will also be open and there are many new veggies and fruits on their market reports. This is the best way to know what the Amish have out. Their market reports show what is really coming to the auction but might be hard to find at their homes unless you are really hunting at many homes. *News* - The Amish will be working Memorial Day as they do not take this day off work. I repeat, You can visit them Monday on Memorial Day and the Plowboy Produce Auction is also open so go by if you're like me and work during the daylight periods of the week. #amishmennonitetn

So where do you buy breads? 17 Morgan Drive and 3461 Buffalo road are the two that I believe have the bigger stores that have breads. I know the daughter at 17 Morgan has moved when she got married towards the Summertown area but don't have her address, so let us know in the comment section. Some Amish have bread on the weekends and will make you a loaf if they know you will be coming back for it. The Amish Country Store has bread from Tammy Crews from Sugar Creek Crumbery that I know is really good and they also have a mill for wheat berries so go in and see them. I also use Triple Oven Bread Shoppe and Make It Sweet Bakery in Lawrenceburg. Morris Famers Market also has homemade breads and local produce in Leoma. These places have a great bakery if you just want high quality breads and sweets and don't mind if the English make it. I will link the English places in the comment section under the photos.

I use 2 local CSA who are chemical free and one delivers locally and the other comes to my home! I know I can go to the Amish as I made this page and go often but I know I can rely on my CSA’s to have seasonal produce from their gardens. Farmer Brown’s Produce is within the Amish community and Spring Valley Farm is in the Leoma/Westpoint area and delivers to Lewis, Lawrence, Hickman and Giles counties. Both have openings available so see their pages below ⬇️ if you would rather pick up a box 📦 or have a home delivery of local produce. Contact them directly if you are interested l. Below are examples of what has come to my home. Farmer Brown’s Produce starts off a bit low and becomes absolutely full during the summer when more produce and fruits are available. I’ll include links in the comment section!
